Bursaries and Interns

The population from which agriculture will appoint the next several generations of employees will be of the younger generation, and South Africa’s youth must develop the skills needed to build a resilient agricultural sector.

Policies aimed at stimulating growth will be successful only if the supply of skills is adequately addressed. The focus of the bursary and internship programme is on breeding and technology studies or other specific crop-related studies, which will benefit the production of such crops.

The studies must be undertaken on an Honours, Masters or Doctorate level. Should you wish to know more about the SACTA Bursary Scheme.
